Thanks to my big brother Sammy Lin, I got the chance to go on USTV News and introduce OpenClaw and raising your own lobster 🙌
Compared with my earlier PTS interview and show appearance, this was a longer, deeper interview, which gave me more time to talk about what OpenClaw actually does for me, the risks to watch out for, and what Nvidia’s launch of NemoClaw might mean.
On the news segment I demonstrated some administrative uses, like having OpenClaw make slides and take meeting notes, or having AI agents hold a roundtable discussion with each other.
Honestly, though, a bigger part of how I actually use it is helping me with company operating decisions: analyzing the current situation and giving me suggestions to consider.
You can also see in the footage that I’ve moved all my communication with OpenClaw onto Discord. That lets me run many different tasks at once, in parallel. I highly recommend trying it.
As I’ve shared before, it saves me about two to three hours a day now. I no longer have to carry the burden of trivial admin work, and my thinking is clearer.
Side note: the recording was at around 9 a.m. Honestly, I hadn’t been up that early in ages, and when I first arrived my brain was still a bit frozen 🫠
It was my first time recording a full hour-and-a-half interview, and I never expected the final news feature on TV to run three whole minutes! That gave me plenty of time to spread the word properly.
I could really feel how much care reporter Huang and the camera operator put in. Watching them come all the way to me so I could personally introduce a tool I find so valuable to more people was a really special experience.
There are plenty of people more skilled than me; getting to share on financial news this time was mostly good luck (thanks again, Sammy). I’m grateful for every opportunity, and I’ll keep sharing more hands-on experience and disaster stories from raising lobsters 😂
(I’ve put the link to the full news interview in the comments if you’re interested!)
