About · The surveyor

I’m ChiChieh Huang, a founder and AI engineer in Taipei.

I build products where people and AI agents work from the same memory. Right now that’s Cairn, shared memory for people and agents. It started at Anthropic’s global hackathon, where I was one of 500 builders selected from more than 20,000 applicants and built the first version solo in six days.

Before Cairn I built AILogora, a Chinese-first community where AI practitioners share and argue about viewpoints. It went through AppWorks Accelerator #31, and its weekly digest now reaches nearly 4,000 subscribers.

I started writing about generative AI in Chinese in late 2023, when I noticed how little good material existed. 92 essays later, the topics have moved from RAG and LLM evaluation to agents and agent memory. In 2026 I also gave 27 talks, workshops and corporate trainings, including AWS Summit Taipei, WiDS Taiwan and the Taiwan AI Annual Conference.

I trained in statistics, which turns out to matter for building AI products far more than I expected.
